IFE JOURNAL OF AGRICULTURE (IJA)
The Ife Journal of Agriculture is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice.
Duties of Authors
Authors must:
• Submit original work.
• Accurately present research findings.
• Properly acknowledge sources.
• Disclose conflicts of interest.
• Ensure ethical treatment of human participants and animals where applicable.
• Avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, and duplicate publication.
Duties of Editors
Editors shall:
• Make publication decisions based on scholarly merit.
• Treat manuscripts fairly and confidentially.
• Avoid conflicts of interest.
• Address ethical concerns promptly and transparently.
Duties of Reviewers
Reviewers shall:
• Conduct reviews objectively.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Identify relevant published work not cited.
• Disclose conflicts of interest.
Research Misconduct
The journal does not tolerate:
• Plagiarism
• Data fabrication
• Data falsification
• Duplicate publication
• Citation manipulation
• Authorship misconduct
Corrections and Retractions
Where significant errors or misconduct are identified, the journal may issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions as appropriate.
